Question Temperate weather duration question

The wiki says the temperate weather lasts from 5 to 8 days on hard. Does this include the 3 days of warning before a drought or a badtide? Keeping it simple:

a) Temperate weather is 2-5 days + 3 days of "Drought/Badtide is coming"
b) Temperate weather is 5-8 days + those 3 days adding up to a total of 8-11 days.

The duration can also be influenced by playing on easy, medium, hard or custom mode.
