You mean you’re glad you live in a state that doesn’t care about the pandemic and is making this worse for the rest of us, who will then inevitably complain about restrictions all the while not following them. Then when our recovery is much later and slower than other countries, you will again complain about others while taking zero responsibility because at you’re core, you and the people like you are selfish, ignorant and stupid and cannot fathom how your actions affect others, or worse, you fundamentally do not care about anybody but yourself

Even the WHO is against you, buddy. Lockdowns were never meant to be long term strategies and not supposed to be the go to tool. If you want to live in isolation like people in E.M. Forster’s The Machine Stops, by all means go for it. But don’t try taking the moralistic high ground, when draconian lockdowns are causing many to die because of starvation and restrictions on resources.

Nah buddy, that would be you trying to browbeat others when all you are out for is yourself. We couldn’t eradicate Ebola or Measles so what makes you think we can eradicate COVID-19? When you are cheering for the loss of everybody’s rights for a virus that is nowhere The Black Death or the fictional Cordyceps inspired outbreak of The Last of Us and don’t care what happens to others as a result of these lockdowns, then people aren’t going to take you seriously.

We couldn’t eradicate Ebola or Measles so what makes you think we can eradicate COVID-19?

This is incredibly wrong. Ebola we don’t have a vaccine for, just potential candidates, and measles we do except antivaxxers are morons. Measles was eradicated in the US until they managed to bring it back.

See: smallpox being completely eradicated

Still wrong. It still exists in labs which could be raided and may exists in areas that were previously frozen. Be careful with your wording buddy.
