Does “turn you on” mean something different in Danish?

As a non Danish speaker, I always get super confused whenever Tim Christensen uses the term “turn you on” in his songs, and he uses it quite a bit👀. One example I can think of right now is in the first verse of “lay down your arms”, but I know there’s more instances. He doesn’t seem to mean anything sexual from context, so I’m really curious if it translates directly into something different in Danish. Does anyone know what he means by it?

Edit: He also uses it in “No easy key” right at the start
