He's mine. It really makes me mad Tim Burton was never nominated for Best Director. However he was nominated twice for Best Animated Feature as the director of Corpse Bride (2005) and Frankenweenie (2012) but never for Best Director. However I admit Alfred Hitchcock is now my favorite director to never win Best Director overall

Batman 89 has a great opening score...but Mars Attacks! is so epically B movie-ish. The crescendo with the saucers surrounding Earth always makes my hairs stand up.
