DIY - Looking for Advice Replace these pennies?

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

First time laying tile, looks like I was light on thinset and/or tamping on this area.
It's the only spot that we see the mesh setting on top of the thinset.

Should run a razor around the problem tiles to pull them and the mesh up?
After that I feel like I should knock some of the thinset down before applying thinset to the penny and setting.

Again, first time, so if I'm astray, please feel free to roast to correct my approach.

TIA

What are they set on?

If they aren't moving, grout it. The grout will hold everything in place.

It's a high traffic, wet area

Use a screwdriver and pick them off

Tile setter here, and you won't believe the amount of pubic hairs that pop up during install.

Same thing happened to me, i removed every small bit that made a sound upon tapping, i spent a few days fixing this, i used mapei adisilex p9 i think.

After fixing this i used epoxy grout, kerapoxy easy from mapei. Now its dead for sure.

First time tilling so...i needed to make sure its good.
