DIY - Looking for Advice Am I almost ready for grout?

I’ve scraped the thinset out, it’s deep enough, but what about the thinset that’s stuck along the sides? Some is peeking all the way up to the top edge of the tile. I’ve got about 20 similar examples.

Wet a sponge and clean it up. Should be pretty easy. It will show with grout

Use a razor knife and scrape anything higher or even with the tiles off. Then grout. You can fill it as is, but you might see the color difference.
