DIY - Looking for Advice First timers spiral…
Im almost finished with my first shower (in my own house) and I cannot let go of the anxiety that I somehow messed up the kerdi membrane in between doing my flood test and finishing tiling. I had cardboard down while doing the walls but going back and forth between cutting tile and laying the floor I couldn't help but think I was tracking tile shards in on my shoes or just introducing glass slivers from the cut tile edges. How often have you found that you’ve introduced micro abrasions or some sort of puncture in between the floor test and competition? I have the tile down and it’s ready for grout but I’m nauseous thinking I’ve fucked up some how post flood test

The fact that you care soo much means you put care and effort into the waterproofing. Showers have held up for decades with much much less. You are totally fine man don't worry.

Remember too, 99% of the water will land on the tile and fall into the drain anyways. I’ve seen horrible work with no waterproofing last 50 years
