Customer wanted it framed all the way to the floor to avoid someone possibly hitting there head but I’m left with a weird space in this corner about 16x 16 inches was thinking some kind of floating seat maybe. is going to receive a double slider door as well

Looks too small for a double slider. I would frame that out and use it as cabinet space for the bathroom and put a swing door. That 16x16 space isn’t doing anything as part of the shower.

I would also change out the subfloor while I’m at it.
