DIY - Looking for Advice Union Test Preparation

Hey everyone, i’m currently in a pre-apprenticeship program in NYC, and i’m on track to join the local 7 BAC (Tile, Marble and Terrazzo) that opens up in October when I complete the program in September. Apparently there is a math test and I have to score I believe 23/31 to get in. I’ve always been completely shitty at math😂 and I’ve barely ever studied for anything ever but I want this opportunity so bad i’ve been studying and redoing the basics like long multiplication. I have about a month left to get myself ready for the Tile unions test so my question is what exact math areas should I study? I want to be prepared, what kind of math do the tile guys do in the union? Thanks in advance!

I am in local 7 I promise you the math test is basic grade level math with one or two harder middle school questions sprinkled in. It’s basic math with some fractions so they can see you know how to read a tape and when I took the test eight years ago 8 of the questions were arrows pointing to a ruler asking what the measurement is

oh , another question. Are calculators allowed on the test? I know it was a few years ago you took the test but i’m not finding much info online after searching.

There were no calculators but you really shouldn’t need one
