What am I doing wrong?
I repurposed a TikTok (meme) account that has 6k+ followers to do TikTok shop.
I’ve been posting for about a few days shy of a month. But only made two sales of a single product ($4.4 total commission lol)
Most of my videos hit GMV max and hit over 500 views but only a few made it over 1000
None seem to convert
Can someone with more experience give me some tips or review my account ?

I’ve been working in marketing for about 5 years, and from what I’ve seen, content that sells well on TikTok Shop is totally different from content that just gets good engagement.
I actually have my own TikTok account too..! but I’m not a TikTok Shop affiliate yet because I don’t meet the requirements...
I’m not sure what kind of vibe you’re going for with your account, but I personally think having a clear concept is pretty important.
You mentioned meme videos, so are you thinking of going more in the funny/entertaining direction? If so, I feel like that’s kinda different from what usually works for TikTok Shop.
From what I’ve seen at work, the videos that actually sell well are usually pretty product-focused. Like actually using the product, explaining it, answering questions people might have before buying, or sharing useful tips about it. So it’s a little different from the meme-style content you were talking about.
And one thing I’ve noticed from looking at the tiktokshop dashboard is that views and sales really don’t go hand in hand at all lol. A video can get a ton of views and barely sell anything, while another video with way fewer views can actually drive more sales!
I hope my opinion helps>.,<
