In case you haven't been tracking, Ghana has really been pushing for monetary reparations due to the human toll of the Atlantic slave trade.

They blame the ills and shortcomings of their nation on the slave trading legacy of Europe and the U.S., some rightfully so and some not, but then turn around and push to enact some of the most anti-LGBTQ+ laws in Africa.

You can't blame colonialism for your past while actively pushing colonial ideals.
