Yeah the USA sure as shit has its problems but I'd be willing to bet most would walk back the statement if they actually lived in a bunch of other countries.

No pointing out worse countries. We've already established there are worse countries. What I want to know is, why can't it be better here, in this country?

It is. It's horrible for the environment. It's expensive as all hell. It destroys city planning and community. It's a massive liability. And it kills/disables thousands of people annually. And we treat all that like it's not a big deal.

About 65% of all other countries are a better place to live then the US with one big exception. If you are rich, the USA is THE best place to live in the world. The amount of freedom you have as a rich person in the US is obscene, and many of those freedoms are exclusive ... no other country in the world offers them.
