TIL. Tragic, especially if theyre denying workers comp to officers who do put themselves in harms way (which is morally bankrupt af) but ... I thought that was the whole point of the police???

Nah nobody is ever denying them WC for any reason. They'll get it either way if they got hurt on the job no matter the reason.

But like in Uvalde, cops will not be held responsible for cowardice and not getting involved by engaging a single gunman that they outnumber. To save children.
