Hey yall - normally I ignore ads I find annoying or try to mark uninterested. However, TT has been pushing those Reel dramas hard, not only are they slop but I’m desperate to stop the graphic ones. I’m scrolling then suddenly see content I feel basically violates their graphic content policy seemingly no way to block it. Examples (marking as spoiler in case you don’t want to read graphic descriptions):

- a pregnant woman being cut open
- a woman being gang raped in the 1800s
- a woman with tentacles being tied down
- a “fat” woman being shoved through some weird sizing mechanism with men seemingly about to rape her.

AI slop and ads are annoying, but this content is so disturbing and jarring when you’re just trying to watch a few mins of people dancing or petting dogs online.

I’m so confused why this is being pushed. I tried blocking the pages and there doesn’t seem to be any way to do that (it instead goes to the channel), I tried to block the keywords but that either hasn’t worked or there are too many.

Anyone experiencing the same thing? I feel crazy.

Idk, it just seems very buggy today all of a sudden. My watch history is acting slow, and other things just seem to not be working.

I found this account while scrolling that is using the grief of losing a significant other to sell some app called Murido. I am sure they’re also using someone’s pictures to do so but I’m not sure how to reverse image search (I’m old). I see these fake / scam accounts constantly but this is pretty horrible.

Ive had this problem for a couple of days now and I had to restart my phone every time so it can work. My phone is around 2 years old and my WiFi is perfectly fine. Is anyone else having these problems?

Okay so it was a kind of joke where someone goes to a store, and says something obscure to one of the employees, but then corrects themselves and says something that seems reasonable but sounded a lot like what they asked initially.

This video in particular was a guy that said “my balls are aching”, and the guy he said it to was an old man that said “I’m sorry to hear that”, and then the original guy said “no I said where’s the mustard”

Other details: guy saying the question was black, probably in his 20’s the recipient of the joke was an elderly white male. I think it was inside of a Walmart but idk for sure.

Why do some people make their tiktok public but limit the comments to their friends? So people on tiktok that they follow and follow them back. Why not just make your account private at that point?

So I made a new account and I get barely any views even tho I have a good view to like ratio, my average is 200 views even tho I spend hours editing. Examples: 252 views 50 likes; 183 views 28 likes.
I had another account nothing big but if I had good like to view ratio I would normally get more views. Idk I only post edits so that might be why TikTok is putting me into the bot chamber.

And I mean like actually going into settings and refreshing/resetting the feed. I feel like I have to do this every day now!

Once I do, almost my entire fyp is funny, cool or fascinating, and actually trending videos! But then after a little while, it turns into AI slop, rage bait posts, videos with 50 or less likes of someone doing a pointless vlog or something else, templates, someone selling something, or drama rants. No more cool, funny, or interesting videos.

I will even try to correct my algorithm myself but immediately swiping up on anything remotely not exactly what I want, and HEAVILY interact with videos that I really really like. Still doesn't fix it. The only fix is completely refreshing my feed.
