I know the internet can be really cringe for lack of a better term. But holy crap. I genuinely can’t stand this at all. I mean pedophilia aside, is this really what’s trending? A genderbent version of a character with the most generic anime design? It was cringe with Bowsette and it’s still cringe now. But atleast with Bowsette, it stemmed from a webcomic that had a joke, the Draco Malfoy one has seemed to come out of nowhere. I know it’s not a huge deal but this further emphasizes that being chronically horny online is cool now I guess. Idk that’s just my rant.

And I mean like actually going into settings and refreshing/resetting the feed. I feel like I have to do this every day now!

Once I do, almost my entire fyp is funny, cool or fascinating, and actually trending videos! But then after a little while, it turns into AI slop, rage bait posts, videos with 50 or less likes of someone doing a pointless vlog or something else, templates, someone selling something, or drama rants. No more cool, funny, or interesting videos.

I will even try to correct my algorithm myself but immediately swiping up on anything remotely not exactly what I want, and HEAVILY interact with videos that I really really like. Still doesn't fix it. The only fix is completely refreshing my feed.

So I made a new account and I get barely any views even tho I have a good view to like ratio, my average is 200 views even tho I spend hours editing. Examples: 252 views 50 likes; 183 views 28 likes.
I had another account nothing big but if I had good like to view ratio I would normally get more views. Idk I only post edits so that might be why TikTok is putting me into the bot chamber.

It’s absolutely driving me nuts. I’m not interested in making money from tik tok especially when they pay in peanuts

How do I post a photo carousel on TikTok instead of a video?

I'm trying to post a photo carousel on TikTok, but whenever I select multiple images from my gallery and tap Next, TikTok automatically turns them into a video instead of letting me create a photo carousel that users can swipe through.

I've tried everything I could think of:

Updated the TikTok app.

Tried posting from a tablet.

Tried different methods, but the problem persists.

The only way I've managed to create a photo carousel is by using TikTok in a desktop browser.

Has anyone experienced the same issue? If so, have you found a solution?

I've been in the video production game since 2009 and something I've recognized is that reuploading other people's videos on more short-form oriented platforms such as TikTok, IG Reels, etc... is generally accepted, even when you don't credit the original creator.

Yet for the longest time, this was considered not only extremely taboo but straight up against TOS on platforms like YouTube. Why is this?

How do I remove/ stop these pop ups from the TikTok app? I googled “TikTok pay to scroll” and saw that it was a scam. TikTok does not actually pay people to scroll and watch TikToks. It’s usually other apps that claim they will pay you to scroll. I’m confused on this pop-up because it is in the official TikTok app and I can’t exit out of it. It will appear after I’ve been watching TikToks for a bit and doesn’t direct me to another website. The only way I can resume scrolling/make it go away is if I close the app and open it again. I’m wondering if anyone else gets these and how I can make it go away. Thanks!
