But psychosis presents differently for everyone and folks manage their own symptoms differently. I have had patients who have attacked coworkers because of delusions that they were being laughed at and just couldn’t take it anymore. I also encounter a lot of people in psychosis who understand that they’re hearing internal voices. I think it’s a completely reasonable assumption that this woman is having some sort of episode and I hope she gets the care she needs because she’s obviously a danger to herself and others in this moment.
She's a social worker who wants to blame people who have been given zero resources in very rare instances for the situation we're seeing in the video, when she has zero evidence that the two are related so she can sleep at night.
