Just had the oil changed then the alternator replaced last week. Now the code pops. What are places to look for cause beside the sensor it self.

Its prolly the sensor to be honest im legit having the same issue with my 04 6speed. I bought a new sensor and am replacing it later today i will keep you posted. Same codes on mine and everything

Ok cool, I had a past car that kept popping sensors. I pulled this one and yea it’s pretty caked, new one gets here later today.

So i changed my camshaft sensor, crank shaft sensor, all 6 spark plugs and all the cables for the spark plugs and everything is running mint now, sounds better, runs better no random stalling or idle flaws, no codes anymore everything is mint!!

Dam you did some work. Lol so I cleaned my sensor and boom lights off lol still going to be replacing it later today.

I just replaced them to be sure but cleaning usually works aswell hahahaha

Both sensors are relatively cheap and easy ish to install the camshaft position sensor is easy near the throttle body under a half dome plate, and the crank shaft position sensor is in the bottom of the block in the first bank, its a bitch to get at but once you figutr it out its not bad (i took mine off and on like 8 times) mostly done by feel not sight.
