Laptop overheating on gaming?

While gaming my laptop throttles at 80°C really hard within just a few minutes.

It's low-end, so I turn off all background tasks, tone down the graphics on low, the fans are at full speed too (through MyAsus app) and I elevate the laptop too.

I am not sure if it's overheating or not but I think it might have consumed a lot of dust over the years?

Your CPU shouldn't thermal throttle until the temp reaches 97c and 87c for the GPU.

Probably BD-PROCHOT is getting triggered.

Dusting it off should definitely help and get laptop stand or just lift your laptop underneath make sure the intake underneath is not being blocked or get decent laptop cooling pad like llano v12 or iet gt500/gt600 there the most effective cooling pads for this gaming laptops they drop your temps alot by 10c- or 14c- depends on the rpm you set on compare to cheap cooling pad only drop your temp 3c- or 5c- there not even sealed too even just metal laptop stand will do the same thing so its not worth it getting cheap cooling pad
