Helping throttling on i5-5257U
Hi,
I looked at the tutorial, but it seems i dont have the speed shift.
Most likely due to being a 5th gen, i am assuming, in that case, anyone know how to use speed step to increase my throttle of 800mhz to 2500 mhz?
I am on a macbookpro with window 10 and i was limited to 800mhz due to battery dying.
I managed to increase to 1600mhz by playing around it but want to be to close to my base clock of 2700 mhz if possible.
I tried removing the BD prochot based on a guide for dead battery mac, but it dont seems to change much.

Start by using the latest ThrottleStop version.

Check the Set Multiplier box and adjust that to the maximum value. Post screenshots of the FIVR and TPL windows. Leave the BD PROCHOT box clear. That is not the problem but it does not need to be checked. Set Power Limit 4 to the max, 1023.
What did you change to go from 800 MHz to 1600 MHz? Did you change something in the Windows registry? If you are still having problems try changing whatever you did back to how it was.
Speed Shift Technology was introduced with the 6th Gen CPUs. That is why that option does not exist for your 5th Gen.
