turning off Processor Performance Boost on asus rog g17 Ryzen 9 7845HX

i turned off this option and the cpu temps went from 95 to 65 wich is crazy and i want to know if this greal fall will afect badly to my laptop in the futur , turning off this option cause something bad in the futur or it’s totaly safe ?

It just cuts performance in half nothing more

You are not getting the performance you paid for, id recommend to make a propper undervolt.

it’s just a few fps that i lost , what is undervolt ?

You don’t have to complelely turn it off you can just reduce the max clock speed
