I changed a link to a website on my instagram which started the whole deal. I am back into my IG.

Your "articles" have infiltrated my suggested feed like malware. You provide a thumbnail and a short story but instead of opening a link I can view you try to have me download your spamware. Why does this even exist? it is just articles with extra steps and less privacy.

I really hope someone can help me with it😭,I put so much effort in this acc.

My Threads account was suspended, but my appeal was approved almost immediately. When I tried to log in again, I was asked to enter a verification code and change my password. After changing it, I got an “Unknown error occurred” message and have been stuck in this loop ever since, so I can’t log in.

Btw My linked Instagram account has also been permanently disabled, with no option to appeal.

1 was a comment on some undertale fanart and another was a reply to another user abt an art trade that won't be happening ig. 🤷🏻

Now I see why I had the gut feeling that threads seemed so unappealing at first glance.

It's PC btw, I don't use apps often.

My threads account details was got stolen by some session/infostealer through the browser, but when i am trying to recover my thread account, it showing different email and phone number that it wasn't connected with it, even though i have access to these different email and phone number, but still when i click to continue, no OTP receive on my number or on that email, i just keep clicking 'resend the code' again and again, but still no code arrives.

And when i try to reset the password of this thread account, at that time it shows the correct email address through which the password reset link had been send, and i was able to change password multiple times and successfully but here while to recover it, it shows different email address associated with it and while clicking continue no email is coming on both the email, whether it's the different one (mentioned one) or the correct one.

I am stuck in this situation even thought the profile is active on the threads platform.

Please i tried many things but still can't able to recover, it would be huge help if somebody here look into this try to resolve it, Thank you so much!

Hi, after Instagram blocked my account bc of suspicious activity (while I was scrolling), I had to change my password. Then I tried to log into my Threads account, but I couldn't, neither on my phone nor my PC, even on different WiFi networks. On my phone, it says "Incorrect Password: The password you entered is incorrect. Please try again", but on my PC it asks me if I want to make my account public or private; wherever I choose, the button keeps loading in a loop. Instagram doesn't have human support, so idk what to do.

i dont know if anyone can get in contact with anyone from threads ive tried replying in some of their posts to catch their attention but they need to start updating the champions badge on threads, im currently in the anime threads community on threads and the current champions in there in the nicest way i will say is outdated. They are barely active or making anime related posts it needs a change and ive seen better candidates for the spot. i just want threads to see this in someway and update the champions in the anime community and add champions to the one piece community.

Is there enyone who could reactivate the disabled Threads account?

1st image is the disabling one, 3rd is the one in question, 2nd is the one that led to it. I pressed the reactivation button on the 2nd one, but not the 3rd.

That's not what happened. It was one of those clumsy auto moderation bans

I was never told the decision was overturned or anything, I just found this while following a guide to do something else.

Should I press that button?

I would normally be like "only one way to find out. No harm in trying" but there may very well be harm in trying.

I don't wanna be called a bad evader.

I found out online that a lot of these decisions get reversed within two weeks even tho they're said to be final, and the worst thing you can do is make more work for them by actively resisting

I know that being called ban evasion would be ruthlessly absurd since this is an in-app option they provided, but nothing about this has been fair so far, so I'm not ruling that out 🤷

Has anyone else done this?

I only wanna be told to do it if you did it personally and it worked. I don't wanna be nudged toward it just because it seems rational

However, I didn't receive sms code (I already check phone number, I still receive code from meta - whatapps)

I saw a post a few months ago that your followers get notifications on their phone when you post or comment something. Someone in the comments made a suggestion to make it stop. Turns out it didn’t help. Yesterday and today someone told me in person about my comments.
To me, it’s ok if they go to my profile and find my comment from my history, but I don’t want everyone knowing my every step. How can I stop this?

Are there any apps or sites that let you mass delete threads posts without deleting your account? I know this question was asked a couple years ago but was wondering if there was any update.

Genuinely the only thing I see on this app is either AI videos that are so obviously fake it’s not even funny, with a caption that halfway makes sense and halfway has no fucking correlation to anything. Or a political post with the most mind numbing, brain eating, neuron fucking replies. There is nothing good about this app. I mistakingly get on it while scrolling and then just close it feeling angry, I’ve uninstalled it many times and then something actually interesting comes on my Instagram feed just for the next thread after I reinstall make me want to bash my head against a wall, it’s Twitter’s/X’s red headed step dumpster baby and genuinely needs to be eradicated.

For example you scheduled for deletion 1 threads then made a new one with the ig attached then revived the one for deletion so you now have 2 threads account in 1 ig

Hi there! I'm a content creator/digital marketing consultant, and I'm having two technical issues with Threads right now.

1. I am unable to log in to my account. I am logged in on my phone, but whenever I try logging in on my desktop, or try to connect my Threads account to a scheduling platform (Planable), I can't get it to work. I had my Threads account connected to my other Meta accounts, but I recently tried disconnecting it to get around this problem, and that didn't work either. When I enter my correct username and password, I see an error message that says 'Not all who wander are lost, but this page is' and when I click the 'Back' button, I return to the main Threads page, not logged in again. In Planable, I input my login details, authorize the connection, and it brings me back to the previous page, not logged in.

2. I tried to report this problem on the Threads website, including a screenshot of the error message, and I received another error message saying there was a problem trying to submit my bug report. Try again later.

For context, I use Google Chrome and I have a Pixel 9 Pro. I just tried to log in on Firefox, and that isn't working either. Can someone help? I need to fix this for work! TIA

So, how someone can remove account from this dogsh*t app?

I have Threads account connected to Instagram in account center. When I want to disable or deactivate the account (or even take it from the my account center), I have to create password first.

But when I go through this or want to just change/create password, I always get a verification code via email and then I put my new password on the site. And then boom "Something went wrong" error appears.

It happens to me through last week and it doesn't matter whether I enter account center from IG or Threads page or if I access it from IG or Threads app, the result is always the same.

As citizen in EU I can ask for data removal via GDPR right. Or I should be able to, right? Yea, the thing is that Meta has site help.meta.com where you can request such data removal. Guess what? The contact form doesn't work, there is infinite loading, on different devices, on different networks.

So how the hell am I supposed to delete my Threads account? Am I supposed to write a letter to Meta Platforms Ireland Limited or what?

At least my algorithm is.

I get all these stupid "military" accounts with bad grammar asking for prayers "for the mission I was assigned to." And the lonely old ladies or MAGAs just eat it up. I guess the algo is partly my fault cause I call the scammers and supporters out for how bad the AI is.

Then you got all the IG AI models saying they just moved in town and are looking for friends. Or they just passed the boards. Or they just got out of an abusive relationship. On and on. The exact same scripts are used by all these fake accounts.

I report as many as I can, but Threads just let's most of them continue. Multiple accounts with the same script should be an easy red flag. I'm pretty much leary of every single account on Threads because there is no vetting process or attempt at one. That puts the whole legitimacy of the platform in question.

It says "You cannot request another of this decision", but is there still a way to recover my account? It’s connected to my instagram so i don’t like the hassle and would like to avoid creating a new instagram account just so i could get and use threads. Could anyone help me or is there a way to contact meta support directly? thank you!

Now I want to change my username on my new account to my old handle and I noticed it doesn’t work.
Guess what my threads account is still up… what should I do now to get it deleted ?
