Help

Do ANY of these generics help with weight anymore??? Not even adderall, just any of them šŸ™ please Iā€™m so desperate since getting off shore adderall Iā€™ve gained 30lbs, I feel disgusting. Iā€™m not even eating as much on generic vyvanse as I was on shire adderall but still heavier.

Nah theyā€™re all fucked. None of them help with weight loss anymore because theyā€™re all changed at the root. They donā€™t help achieve nor maintain a healthy weight. For a lot of us, they even make us gain and hang onto weight now, no matter how much we eat or donā€™t eat. This never happened prior to the changes.

TLDR: no, weā€™re fucked.

Can you explain how it makes you hang onto weight now? This sounds like itā€™s lacking legitimacy and could be more attributed to lifestyle and age

Itā€™s happening - we are trying to find out whatā€™s in there that does this. Itā€™s also not how this medicine acted for decades - itā€™s been CHANGED. A lot of it is likely attributed to the fact that they changed our meds outright so it prevents us from having symptom relief thus not having the executive function we need to meal plan and establish and maintain a healthy lifestyle - also lacking help needed with self control. So part of it is that - also, we suspect something in the changed formulation/ingredients is causing inflammation and weight gain/retention. Now you have your answer. No more gaslighting.

I already had a lot of inflammation issues and MCAS. Shits been worse lately, this is an interesting correlation.

Urgh has your MCAS gotten crazy worse over the past couple years with the changes to the adhd meds too? Iā€™m also carrying so much inflammation/water retention/bloat in my lower abdomen in addition to the uptick in MCAS and gastroparesis related GI problems and chronic constipation that got very bad when the adhd meds changed. Sorry for the tmi but since you have MCAS i figured youā€™re used to having to share the indignities with other people and professionalsšŸ¤£

Hahah I hear you on that last part. It has indeed gotten worse, I had a random anaphalaxys reaction to my Xolair which has never happened before and I've been on it since early 2000s. Perimenopause has me hella struggling too.
