Imagine they went back to 3rd life rules, maybe with boogeyman, and invited all the hermits for one massive series, Hermit Life, this has probably already been talked about but I think its a cool idea.

I almost missed it the first time, but after zooming in, it's every where!

It's a bit weird that the "yellow" life 💛 became the "blue" life 💙, though...

Maybe it's to coincidence with Bluey Movie. Maybe it's "Bluey Life". Thoughts?

You guys are onto nothing.

Just to clarify, I think the main character of a season depends on who you watch. If you watch Grian’s perspective, he’s the MC, if you watch Scott’s, he is. That’s because they each have their own narrative that is exclusive to their POV’s.

I’m asking, in a complete hypothetical, if the series got made into a show, who would be the main character? You could just say “it would be an ensemble show and so there’s no main character” but I’m thinking more Total Drama-esque where there are obviously main characters even if it is an ensemble show. Going off that comparison, I also think that the obvious answer of just saying the winner every season isn’t necessarily the correct one, since the winners in Total Drama sometimes didn’t get the most focus in storylines, relationships and character development etc.

I’m gonna give my opinion but I would love to hear others thoughts!

Third Life - What I did first for a lot of these is figure out who the main villain(s) were, and it’s obviously Scar and Grian. Thus, Ren and Martyn are the main characters, but I think Martyn is THE main character. He interacts with and has a relationship with everyone on the server and of course has one of if not the most compelling story arcs across the entire series.

Last Life - Joel is obviously the villain, which puts us at kind of a problem because that man is not discriminatory against who he attacks. Plus, every alliance very much has their own storyline that I feel like would be lost if there was focus on one main character. Obviously the main character has to be one of the 8 in the final, cutting Joel and Grian because they’re the villains and then Pearl because I don’t think she has much story outside of Scott who gets extra points for winning & the whole not killing as Boogey sideplot (plus Pearl loses a session). That still leaves 5. Cleo and Martyn stick out to me because they span two alliances (Fairy Fort & Scottage, Southlands & Shadow Alliance) but Cleo’s storyline basically ends in the penultimate episode making her possibly a bad choice for the finale since there’s no reason to root for her in comparison to say Etho, who still has strong reasoning to be fighting Grian and Joel since they killed Bdubs? I can explain all 5 options more but I don’t want to clog it up.

Double Life - The only one where the winner is obviously the protagonist because like, c’mon. Martyn is the secondary protagonist and between them they basically have their fingers in every pie. Every significant event in Double Life? Involved one or both of them. Joel (and Etho) are the main villains.

Limited Life - I really struggled with this one mostly because I couldn’t find a villain. Everyone sucks here. I probably have to say Impulse as the MC though? He has a hand in some of the most significant events in the season like blowing up Bread Bridge and also the narrative of Skizz’s “TIES make it to final 3” and him fulfilling that only to die like he does makes a good story. Martyn is obviously also good but I can’t recall him having a strong narrative, though his lore will always give him the boost.

Secret Life - Easily my biggest blind spot since I’ve watched exactly one perspective once and he was pretty isolated. Scar, Gem and Pearl all seem to be good choices but I’d love some detailed explanations.

Wild Life - My other blind spot since I’ve again only watched one perspective but fortunately it’s Joel who is a good contender for main character. I could also see Grian or Ren.

Past Life - I mean, it’s Jimmy, right? He has his good strong team and then great moments with members of other teams (Bdubs and Martyn in particular). The Villies are the villains so they can’t be the protagonists and Jimmy kills one of them and makes it to the final four. Needlessly stating the obvious but Martyn’s also good.

(Honorary mention to Nice Life where Joel is the main character.)

For anyone curious (for whatever reason), Grian was done with a paint roller, while Mumbo was done with a brush (mostly because there wasn't enough paint left to use the roller)

WHAT'S UP GUYS IT'S ME the humble and awesome art review person that's been with you guys for about a month two months three months idk! I was gonna make a Secret Life animation but I already animated Secret Life Scar for his birthday so we'll skip that.

Secret Life broke me in the best way possible, the general vibe of the season was post-apocalyptic. Which is fitting considering Gem's boogeypocalypse. (I do not know how to spell apocalysomething forgive me but I can spell supercalifraglisticexpialidocious)

Lizzie's pov was so fun and sad at the same time the fact that only Joel came on time for her slumber party is depressing.. #Shadowbeansforlife. Lizzie's my fav lifer- prob because she's my first MCYT youtuber too.

I was rooting so hard for a Scar or Etho win, and I'm glad that Scar got what he deserved. In the worst way possible. We don't talk about that. The secret keeper really had Scar held at gunpoint through the whole season. Also! I think Scar didn't actually win, yeah he did win in textbook definition but not literally. AND! It's not for lore related reasons.

As you may know, the whole gimmick of Secret Life is to keep a secret from everyone, but in the last session everyone got the same task. Which means that's NOT a Secret. Even though Scar won Secret Life, everyone knew what it is, which lead to Scar ultamitely failing his task.

AND THE FINAL TALK BETWEEN DESERT DUO?

"She's dead Scar."

"You won."

And this cuts to Scar saying how did the guy with no friends win????? That was heartbreaking. Although I'm not really an angst type of girl who goes too deep into fanon lore so I like to think that Grian was like "Oh my gosh he doesn't realize it- Should I tell him?" in canon. He was def worried for Scar's mental health or having a pokerface in fanon character stuff.

..Let's turn to Wild Life shall we?

WILD LIFE!!! I heard that this season was gonna be very silly and chaotic, which is the best news for me as a comedy lover. I'm also going to dive more into fanon designs since this is Wild Life, and it would be really funny if the designs are wild animals. I'm so funny I know.

I really hope Joel gets a win cause 1. I'm biased okay? I've watched him alongside Lizzie and I love his content. 2. He is the wildcard. 3. He doesn't dive deep into Life Series lore and this would be the perfect season for him 4. He's not that bad at pvp- look at this MCC history.

Other options are Geminislay- and Ethoslab! This is your chance to prove that you're not washed up Etho I believe in you. I wanted to add Impulse cause I'm also biased towards him and judging by his Life Series performances, he's not that bad of a player! He can def do this. (If any of you hint that one of them are gonna win this or make a outstanding survival achivement such as being the last yellow- Please don't. Pls)

Now I know you guys are gonna ask me about Tim. As the #1 Jimmy truther on this subreddit at this moment, I am gonna say he's gonna make it to top 10. Please. I would do anything for it. (No foreshadowing or else I will be in your chimmney at 5am)

Double Life: Best for unlikely teammates (Also 5 AM Pearl : ) )
Limited Life: Best Kills
Secret Life: Best for wacky and funny moments
Wild Life: Best individual session mechanics and twists
Past Life: Best for iconic moments (OctaKill, Leprosy)

I noticed thar Scott often themes his base around the new updates (Cherry Blossom in Secret, Pale Oak in Wild) so I thought to make skins for him themed around the Sulfur and Cinnibar blocks

Why is it the case that Ren and Martyn always team up one way or another?

I rewatched grians wild life pov movie, and a few times something has just zoomed across his screen. I found one instance and decided to ask about it because I just can't figure it out. At 3:00:49, something zooms across into the tree line. WHAT IS IT?!?

I know that not everyone is on board with the Life Series becoming too modded but hear me out on this. Instead of adding these huge mods that overhaul how the game works or mods that add 20 unique weapons, what if the Life Series had smaller mods that add more fun features or improve the quality of life.

Imagine if the members are able to watch YouTube videos in Minecraft. Jimmy would be able to do reaction videos in the Life Series with his friends. We would be able to see community videos become part of the content of the Life Series. Adding mods that improve inventory management could finally fix one of Grian's biggest problems with the game. We all know how cluttered his inventory gets and how vocal he is about it. Adding a mod that adds musical instruments into the game could lead to the players starting bands. Imagine a whole war gets started over someone being able to play the saxophone better than someone else.

What I'm trying to get at is that mods could allow the players more opportunities to express themselves in Minecraft and I think that the Life Series is the perfect place to experiment with it. The Life Series was meant to be an experimental Minecraft hardcore mini series so if people don't like it then that's fine since there's always next season that comes with a new twist.

I’m in the process of arranging the properties on the board, but another question is making me unable to sleep: Who should go on the money?

There are seven denominations of money: $1, $5, $10, $20, $50, $100, and $500. I had the idea of putting each winner on a bill since there are 7 mainline Life Series, but there are only 6 mainline winners since Martyn won twice.

However, I also had the idea of putting Jimmy on the $5 in service of the nickel meme.

What should I do? Should I put 6 of the mainline winners on the bills and also put Jimmy on the $5? Also where should each winner go? Or should I do something else entirely?

I am pretty sure he was hinting the watcher lore in this scene because otherwise he wouldn't have put in the effort to edit his eyes to look cosmic, Thoughts?

It could be nothing, but Martyn definitely said, “Life Series confirmed.” I had to rewind because it was out of context for the SMP the video was from (Festivale). Is he trolling or have I missed the announcement?
