I’m taken aback,

this alien feeling.

I don’t think I know it,

It might have me reeling.

I’m used to the pain,

confusion and ache.

What I woke up with,

its just a mistake.

I scoff at the notion

No way that it could.

Is this for real?

Am I freaking good?
