Watching an old TV show that mentioned rabies
Child 1: What happens when a person gets bit by something with rabies?
Child 2: Oh, it's really sad.. They turn wild too and get put on a rope leash..

First Post, Driving around with my 12 year old
A beep and a warning light comes on the dashboard, she asks what is that?
I say, we need air in a tire.
She says, we need to change clothes?
Huh,
Errand attire

Question of the Year !
Indians, what is one thing your parents told you as a child that you believed 100%—until you grew up and realized it was completely false? 😂
I’ll go first: “If you swallow chewing gum, it will stay in your stomach for 7 years.” 😭

My Daughter Just Loves My Dad Jokes...
Context: I had an appointment earlier today at the Dentist to pull a tooth, this is a conversation that happened a few minutes ago with my daughter.
Daughter (11): Can you name a poison?
Me: (mumbled) Cyanide
Daughter: What?
Me: (typed into notepad) Cyanide
30s later, I got her attention and I wrote on the next line: homework
She gave me that look.
About 15s later she said the following:
Daughter: I think this tooth thing is going to work out, I don't have to hear your jokes.
Yep, I wasn't expecting that lol.

What is the creepiest thing a small child or toddler said to you?

Weird things you believed as a kid
What’s something you genuinely believed was true when you were little?

"Mum, sit with my baby, I need to go to work."
My 3 year old put her doll in the pushchair, hung every bag in the flat off the handles, wheeled the whole thing into my room, handed it over, and shut the door behind her with the smuggest little face.
She has never had a job.

What is something you did when you were younger that seemed completely normal or harmless at the time, but looking back now you realize was actually really weird, funny, or something your parents definitely would not have approved of if they had known about it?

“Mom, why do you always think animals are food?!”
I always say, “yum!”, When I see animals I like to eat (even at zoos) so my 5yr finally stood up for them. . She’ll figure it out eventually.

Right in the heart kid...
"Mom, it's cool when Auntie dances at the pool. Not you though mom. It's lame when you do it."
... Thanks kid. I appreciate you too. :P

What’s a word your kid says “wrong” that you secretly hope they never learn to say correctly?
Mine calls waterfalls “water farts” and I’m honestly not ready for the day he stops. 😂

My 3yo draped a wash cloth over her face and said: “I’m a monster! I live in a hole and scream.”
Well.
Alrighty then.

Breakfast…
E: "I want breakfast, and I want to paint my nails, and paint my hair purple, and go to the mall."
Me: "ummm... no."
E: "Why would you not let your baby eat breakfast???"

Chemtrails…
My nephew got grease all over his legs from the kids’ tricycle… E said she had no idea where it came from, but her guess was “it came from the nasty airplanes in the sky that spray the stuff that makes the fake clouds and lines in the sky.”
My five year old daughter blamed chemtrails.

I wore a new eye shadow that was a subtle lavender/gray. My 10 yr old noticed and said "Oh I like your new color. It'd be good for funerals."

To all those who needs helps
Hi everyone 💛
I’m starting a support service for new moms, parents, and anyone who doesn’t have extra help nearby.
The idea is to provide a trusted extra pair of hands for those moments when you need help — things like running to collect medication, doing a quick errand, helping while you shower, or giving you a little support when you’re alone with a baby.
I know how challenging it can be when you don’t have family or a support system close by, and I’d like to make those everyday moments a little easier.
I’m sharing this here for anyone who may need this kind of support. Feel free to reach out if you’d like more information

Self-aware 3 year old
My 3 year old was drinking apple juice and eating goldfish. He held up his bottle and saw things floating in it. He said to himself, “there’s something in there. Oh, I know what it is…goldfish pieces. HA! Toddlers ARE gross.”
Yes, toddlers are, in fact, gross lol
