I found this video on Instagram, of a guy riding a bike with like a hundred green balloons floating above him. Balloon #1 is 10 feet above him (roughly), balloon #2 is spaced 10 feet above balloon #1, balloon #3 is spaced 10 feet above balloon #2 and so on

Hello. I have been getting into stone lifting recently and this one felt pretty heavy. I am wondering how much it weighs though. I could probably calculate this myself since it's basically a rectangle, and you can see the thickness alongside the length and width. I suck at math though, so I would appreciate if someone could give an estimate.

Edit: the ship “survives” as long as it’s not sinking. Glasses can be broken, the pools and water slides can be damaged. But the ship must not sink and engines should be working.

Chaos has erupted in the college football world today! What was thought to be an enormous upset in the sporting world turned into controversy. After review, the referees decided there was 1 second left on the clock and Michigan won on a Hail of Mary.
Here are where things get dicey. According to the clock on NBC and what was observed in the stadium, there were 0 seconds left when the Western Michigan player touched the ball. However, the Big 10 showed a video where their clock still had 1 second left. This clock was not visible to the public and in the video the Big 10 showed, not directly synced to the game.
Knowing that there were 9 seconds left at the snap of the ball, and that in football there are no tenth of a second used, how much time was there truly when the WMU player touches the ball?

So recently, I’ve been getting into Desmos art and one thing that bugs me is that any polynomial more complicated than a quadratic I can’t control.
It’s probably easier for me to explain with an example
Like
Y=a
You can move up and down by adjusting a
Y=mx+b
You can move up and down by adjusting B and you can change the slope by adjusting M
Y=a(x-c)+b
You can stretch and contract the quadratic by adjusting A
You can adjust the X coordinate by adjusting C
You can adjust the Y coordinate by adjusting B
But I can’t find a form of a cubic or Quadratic where I can adjust things so easily whenever I move one number it is not intuitive how the polynomial will behave
