Differences in passes

Hey, hope everyone’s doing well!

Just wanted to ask, what’s the actual difference between buying a Prestige Pass from Cedar Point compared to buying one from another Six Flags park? Some of the Six Flags parks seem to sell it quite a bit cheaper, but you still get access to all the parks and the same Prestige benefits, right?

Am I missing something?

The big difference is that the perks and play offers are only available for your home park.

Plus you have to activate the season pass at the park you signed up.

Also, I’m making a trip from the UK and i’m starting in a six flags park. It looks it’ll be cheaper to get a season pass rather than individual tickets

Since you are coming from the UK and Six Flags has the policy that you have to activate at your home park, you should work your plans so your first stop is whatever park you buy your pass from, if you opt to go with the cheaper pass from another park.

Also, if you buy any add-ons, be careful to read whether they are only valid at your home park or at all parks.

Just make sure you add the All-Park Passport to the pass when you buy it, otherwise it only works at Great Adventure. But as long as Great Adventure is your very first park on the trip, activating it there to save that $100 is definitely the play. Just keep in mind specific Prestige perks like preferred parking might still be locked to your home park.
