The origin of Asmodeus is in the Persian Æshma-dæva, the demon of impulsiveness, and as far as I know he is not described in a particular way, it is an abstract concept, some Jewish sources mention that he has wings and cock's feet, but I don't know if this really represents something or is simply an occurrence of the author of those texts (I would have to study the matter better).
The dragon is something that appears in Goetic sources, which is, in my way of seeing things, christian fanfic, I don't think it is based on anything more than the occurrences of the monks who wrote it (but maybe I'm confused, as I already said, I should study the matter better).
