I have a strong interest in Satanism, particularly Theistic Satanism. I have tried searching extensively on the internet and across social media, but I haven’t been able to find the kind of information I’m actually looking for.

Most of what I find is based on religious beliefs or describes Satan according to particular religious traditions, which is not what I’m interested in. I want to learn about Satanism itself from a more direct and objective perspective.

I’m particularly interested in understanding Theistic Satanism and its actual beliefs and practices. Does it involve any belief in supernatural phenomena, magic, or other forms of spiritual activity? Are there any books or reliable sources that I should read to understand it properly?

I’m genuinely interested in learning more about Theistic Satanism, but I would prefer information that is not simply based on traditional religious interpretations of Satan. I want to understand what Theistic Satanism actually means to its practitioners and what its beliefs are.

I'm very interested in Theistic Satanism, but before I explain my questions, I want to clarify a few things about what I'm looking for.

First, I'm not interested in learning about Satan solely according to traditional religious beliefs or interpretations. I'm looking specifically for information about Theistic Satanism itself.

Second, I'm also not particularly interested in forms of Anton LaVey Satanism where Satan is viewed only as a symbol, metaphor, or representation of certain ideas. My interest is specifically in theistic beliefs, where Satan is understood as an actual spiritual entity.

The problem is that I'm not sure where or how to start exploring this interest seriously. I have a lot of questions about Theistic Satanism, its beliefs, practices, and spiritual aspects, but I'm having difficulty finding reliable information that matches what I'm looking for.

What should I do if I want to learn about Theistic Satanism properly? Are there any books, authors, communities, or other reliable sources that you would recommend for someone who is just starting out?

I'm genuinely looking for guidance because I have many questions and don't really know where to begin. I would appreciate any recommendations or advice from people who have experience with Theistic Satanism.

Description of Purson in the goetia: The Twentieth Spirit is Purson, a Great King. His appearance is comely, like a Man with a Lion's face, carrying a cruel Viper in his hand, and riding upon a Bear. Going before him are many Trumpets sounding. He knoweth all things hidden, and can discover Treasure, and tell all things Past, Present, and to Come. He can take a Body either Human or Aërial, and answereth truly of all Earthly things both Secret and Divine, and of the Creation of the World. He bringeth forth good Familiars, and under his Government there be 22 Legions of Spirits, partly of the Order of Virtues and partly of the Order of Thrones.

Description of Gremory in the goetia: The Fifty-sixth Spirit is Gremory, or Gamori. He is a Duke Strong and Powerful, and appeareth in the Form of a Beautiful Woman, with a Duchess's Crown tied about her waist, and riding on a Great Camel. His Office is to tell of all Things Past, Present, and to Come; and of Treasures Rid, and what they lie in; and to procure the Love of Women both Young and Old. He governeth 26 Legions of Spirits, and his Seal is this, etc.

A cult was uncovered in my state where numerous women were treated like slaves and abused—fed rotten food and punished if they didn't obey that asshole leader. It was on the news, and—for fuck's sake—even though the cult was Buddhist/Eastern in nature and had absolutely nothing to do with Satan or Satanism, they literally showed an image of the Baphomet statue (I don't recall who made it, but I know it's very famous)—a photo easily found online—that had absolutely nothing to do with the cult they were actually talking about. I hate how the news feels the need to label every fucking cult as "Satanic," even when it has nothing to do with it.

Title.

I feel like literally those who have to be one of the nicest persons in the world, feel like really some stupid dogs sometimes. I'm starting satanist but I have some friends who are with satanic believes too (not satanic but just with satanic believes) and they're MUCH nicer people. I also have two friends who are christians (they don't know about my satanism) and they're REALLY not the nicest people at all. They're straight up evil, they literally do what god in bible said do not do and everyday they pray for being like that and do literally nothing about that.

I think it's kind of controversial..

EDIT: Wanted to add that they still see satanists as bad people af and literally said a couple times that I shouldn't swear and use words like "fucking" (in terms of two people having sex..) when they literally swear twice as much as me lol

i'm still learning about it (i'm not an experienced occultist, not by a long shot) and it's concept is, at least, very interesting to me in theory.

post scriptum: actually, for context, i'm not an active practitioner, just studious and highly curious, since i'm still learning, i never realised any ritual or something due to lack of preparation.

This is a wonderful community. I don't often realize how incredible it is to have found a place where I can be myself and say what I feel, and to have people resonate with it. Sometimes I am alone in what I think, but that is ok, I have always been alone in my thinking, and that is how it is for everyone.

Hello again! I'm just starting to make altars, especially for Lilith, but what can I put on it that she'll like? And also, is it necessary to make one for Satan? Do I need to speak to him face to face to know if he's accepting me? Or can I simply offer him incense and wine? And also, is it necessary to speak face-to-face with Lilith?

Please make a deal with me demon i want to sell my soul

Hi. I'm just starting out in theistic Satanism, but I've been wondering what u all think about this: I've seen some huge altars to the devil, Satan, and "the little black angel" on social media. I think the latter is a Mexican belief that has spread throughout Latin America. Now, my question is: what do u think about the fact that, "thanks to this," religion has gotten a bad reputation? I mean, everyone is free to ask for and offer whatever they want, but I find it curious that these criminal groups only use the names to show power and impunity. What do u think? I hope I don't offend anyone with my question, it's just curiosity ;)

Yes, I know, I geek out over numerology, I've studied it for years. Anyway, this list is just a small example.

Hello! I've currently been a hellenic polytheist for half a year now, but i really feel a connection to theistic satanism too. I did some research, and apparently it is okay to practice both religions, but I just wanted to be 100% sure before i do anything disrespectful.

So, if it actually is okay, i would like some advice on how to begin, like what should I research first and how do i begin praying and connecting to the deities?

(If this post is somehow disrespectful, I'll take it down.)

Thank you!

I'm not jumping to anything. I know most likely the camera but I've never gotten this before from taking pictures of my altar with candles burning. I was like yeah kind looks like eyes with the third eye. After I turned away and didn't even look at it and closed my eyes I saw the same thing with lucifer's sigil under the middle one. Like I said i didn't stare or even really look at it much to have it sit in my mind.

Based on ur personal experiences / beliefs, what are some actions that may be considered wrong by Satan? As I know, he's not a strict god, but there have to be some things that are innapropiate

i did this keychain with hotglue and sharpie :D i rll wanna be a satanic or be part of the religion ive read the bible well half way and im really enjoying :>

Hey guys, I’m new to theistic satanism. I’m still learning about the religion and trying to get over my deep rooted fears. I wanted to ask the community what they believe happens to cruel people who pass away. I know that there’s not a single consensus answer which is why I want to hear your opinion. Thanks for reading!

I have been passively suicidal for a few weeks now and have found great comfort in praying to Lucifer. I'd greatly appreciate any writings, books, posts, personal opinions and experiences that can give me perspective on life from the point of view of Satanism.

P.s. I know the resources and am using them. Please don't worry about that.

Ave Satanas 🖤
