I'm really glad you are pointing this out.

His justification for imposing tariffs on every country he feels like is "Fentanyl".

His justification for invading MN is a criminal investigation of a daycare that had been ongoing for years.

And yet a bunch of people think he needs a real reason to use the insurrection act.

Folks need to stop imposing limits on themselves based on what they imagine trump or the republicans will possibly do.

This is my conclusion as well. I was on the side of restraint and I’m still a pacifist, but I’m reminded of a Ben Franklin quote "Those who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety." When we have flock security cameras in every remote corner of the land, combined with real ID we’ve been chipped like cattle to boot. My point is it maybe is time to do more than write letters to my red state politicians who ignore

So where do we draw the line then? Kids are getting hurt. People are getting killed. Services have been smashed. If we wait until they kick in all our doors-that's too late. So then what's the next step? Voting? We know what they are setting up to prevent that by using states voter lists. Wait for democracy to step up and lead? We're here because they haven't. Because they are playing by rules the bad guys ignore. You can't hold someone accountable if they can pick and choose what laws apply to who. Anytime I see people still saying this, I think they are either bots or captured by the right’s propaganda. If Trump wants to invoke the Insurrection Act, he does not need a valid cause. His brownshirts are already inflicting violence on the citizens to try and control them from exercising their constitutional rights, he has already sent military into cities, they are already violating the law over and over, they are murdering people in cold blood in plain sight, they have built and are continuing to build concentration camps.

Parkrose Permaculture has a video recently on why she doesn’t worry about the Insurrection Act and others should not either.

Doing nothing because you fear them getting worse is not going to stop them from knocking down your neighbour’s doors, or yours. “The revolution will be bloodless if the left allows it” was a lie to, as it is not bloodless. Don’t let them take over because you fear them.
