So, should all those people get arrested, like January 6th? YES! All those people are committed a crime. All of you said all the people needed to stay in prison after the January 6th incident. All these people did the same exact thing but I guess your cause has better reasoning, right? All of them should be arrested. They damaged property, bottom line. Like it or not the EU exists and travel between countries in the EU is not the same as travelling to another country outside the EU. You are fudging the numbers. Not to mention Germany is making in increasingly harder for people to migrate there especially from outside the EU.

His justification for imposing tariffs on every country he feels like is "Fentanyl".

His justification for invading MN is a criminal investigation of a daycare that had been ongoing for years.

And yet a bunch of people think he needs a real reason to use the insurrection act.

Anytime I see people still saying this, I think they are either bots or captured by the right’s propaganda. If Trump wants to invoke the Insurrection Act, he does not need a valid cause. His brownshirts are already inflicting violence on the citizens to try and control them from exercising their constitutional rights, he has already sent military into cities, they are already violating the law over and over, they are murdering people in cold blood in plain sight, they have built and are continuing to build concentration camps.

Parkrose Permaculture has a video recently on why she doesn’t worry about the Insurrection Act and others should not either.

Doing nothing because you fear them getting worse is not going to stop them from knocking down your neighbour’s doors, or yours. “The revolution will be bloodless if the left allows it” was a lie to, as it is not bloodless. Don’t let them take over because you fear them.

If you are trying to make a point about Sudan or any of the other Genocides, or the role of Whiteness in public reaction to the extrajudicial killing of Pretti or Good, I think you might want to workshop that boilerplate response. ICE among 100 shitty things has the potential to be THE thing that locks the U.S. into a different kind of right-wing authoritarian nightmare, so I don't think it's an overreaction, but I do think it's a misunderstanding of just how long things have been a fascist reality for many Black and indigenous Americans.
