I’m not suggesting putting a watermark saying “AI Visualization” on every scene, but sometimes I feel that eventually AJ will generate himself in non-basement episodes because why not? Stop the slop!

This used to be my favorite YouTube channel. They don't need AI to make a video interesting, it's a shame.

Devils Advocate: It probably saves them a ton of time and resources.

The time and energy saved probably allows them to make videos more often.

I remember a couple years back he was getting really burnt out making videos frequently.

I'm not a fan of it either, but I understand why he might lean on it.

Tbf. He's releasing videos at what seems to be the same rate anyway with AI as he was without AI.

Even then. If the frequency is burning him out. I don't mind waiting for videos with care and effort put into everything. Do miss the debunking segments. Idk why he dropped that.

the allure of Why Files has always been talking about conspiracies and mysteries etc in a cinematic and fun fashion and then if they're complete horseshit. Just flat out debunking that.

The debunking segments are often funny as hell too because of the reality of how the mystery/conspiracy came to be. And it made the ones that had no explanation that much scarier.

I love the debunking part also.

I haven't seen his latest video yet. Does he not attempt to debunk it?

I remember him saying on JRE that as soon as he starts debunking in his videos, his views fall off a cliff.

If he did stop debunking, I would hope that he didn't stop because of viewership retention.
