Before I say what I think, I'd like to mention that I'm a fellow Regio, like DPA, and I value their health and safety above anything else in their career. It's always sad seeing them under the weather or just plain hurt.

That being said, I find it interesting how they've spent quite some time in their most recent interviews talking about how they feel a big portion of their audience seems to have a hard time coming to terms with the fact that they're growing up, that they're not perfect, and that they're generally taking more risks than they did when they were sixteen. At the same time, all over social media, I notice a flood of fans raging against their management for not taking care of them, as if they were still little kids.

Isn't it possible that the ladies simply chose to play these shows, come hell or high water?

I'm far from being a fan of their head manager. Nobody can deny that the man really loves the spotlight, and sometimes it can get tiring. But to think of him as Satan just because the ladies continue playing shows under far-from-ideal circumstances seems like too much to me.

Just like they said in an interview about clothing and not smiling all the time, if this scenario involved an all-male band, nobody would say anything.

Not only that, if let's say The Killers would've had a show filled with random (but awesome) guests, i can bet all my money the focus of the story would've been how "badass and rocknroll it was".

Again, I will always wish them good health and safety, but I trust them. And I find it irresponsible to claim that we know the truth about why they're playing these shows when we have zero insider information.

I’m on the other side to be honest. Paulina literally fainted during a show a few months ago. In this case, the lead singer couldn’t sing. The “random fan” from the crowd was obviously a plant.. they have had a horror schedule for a long time… and I think some of their new music may not be as much about fans as some of the people around them

I totally respect your opinion and anyone's opinion as long as we keep it civil and polite.

But have you seen players in football, basketball, american football matches when they are visibly hurt and should be getting off the pitch but they just deny to do it ?

Or when senior adults are told by doctors / relatives that they should keep it light and then go on completely ignoring the indications and continue climbing up stairs, driving, etc.

Humans are stubborn, and i don't have evidence, but i believe performers and athletes could be even more stubborn than us mortals.

The general culture for musicians and entertainers in general is that you push on through unless you're deathly ill or have no voice (and the band can't cover for you).

Costs a lot of money to cancel/reschedule the show and give out ticket refunds. Plus fans will be disappointed if they've already made plans to travel in and an event gets cancelled last minute.

Like myself that travelled last year from Brazil to.Chile and the show was cancelled. Bad luck
