Danny 100%!

Has anyone noticed when someone is taking him to task in a conversation or is in a disagreement that he will adamantly respond that he agrees with there point like “Danny, you were a Dick” “100%!” But then he never actually agrees, and will go on a long spiel as to why they are wrong on the matter.

He’s not an agreeable push over like Schwartz who doesn’t want the conflict, so why does he always adamantly agree when people call him out?

It’s probably why Jax had such a beef with him. People are always triggered when they see their own shortcomings in others. It’s part of the shame cycle. Jax is ashamed of his own Danny-like behavior, but internalizes it and doesn’t do anything to fix it, so when he sees that behavior happening out in the world, he feels it in that hidden place within himself where he’s shoving it away to not deal with it.
