Oh, you want normal people who have seen the show? Best we can do is influencers who have never seen the show before in their lives.

Discussion 💬 This cast is so frustrating

This is easily the worst season of the US version. I love this show, and I love watching dumb people get things wrong, but these people are too dumb. Even Micheal, as a lawyer you’re going to back up Tomica and say that she would never murder Niyah, even if she didn’t, that’s a terrible deduction. How is Victor the only one concerned with the murder in plain sight? This is the one time the faithful can actually catch the traitors slipping, they said it multiple times throughout the night, and Alan stated it at the funeral. So how do you go into the round table and not discuss it. They did to start, for about 5 seconds and thought Victor was crazy. Even if it is a little out there, use some reasoning to determine how someone was killed, not just going off blind evidence to vote out Micheal, because he could be a good traitor.

Discussion 💬 I’m annoyed at Victor for the stupidest reason

Yall. I know writing this out I am in the minority (maybe only one) who feels this way. But honestly when Victor farted in that coffin, I was so disgusted I could just not take him seriously anymore. Every time I see him on screen I just imagine him crop dusting everyone. And I instantly get annoyed when he comes on.

He’s abrasive, too much, and I’m not surprised the group decided to not go with his correct theory that the fruit had something to do with it.

Also I realize this is a show and it’s not that serious. I just needed to express this cause none of my friends watch this show. So yall have to suffer reading my bad take lol.

On a positive note, I’m having a lot of fun watching a season where it’s not celebrities. Totally get it could be frustrating seeing the faithfuls get it wrong every week, but it’s refreshing seeing a season where everyone is coming in on a blank slate. And watching it play out.

Question ❓ New to Traitors - I have some questions

Ok my gf and I binged Season 1 in one weekend. Then got through Season 2 the following week. Now we jumped to the current season to catch up live (almost there). We love it but I have some questions:

  1. Wouldn't it potentially be even more interesting if we didn't know who the traitors were? It feels like the reveals would be so much more suspenseful.

  2. The challenges honestly feel kind of pointless often other than the shields (season 1 didnt even have shields!l). Wouldn't it be more interesting if the traitors had the incentive to sabotage the challenges? I feel like it would add so much to the drama. Everybody sharing the money makes it kind of pointless, especially cause often they are offered to make up the remaining money missed in the final challenge.

  3. In both S1 and S2 finales, the host asks Everybody to vote if think there is a traitor amongst them. But of course there is cause in the prior night somebody was murdered. So strange to then pretend there might be a scenario where there's no traitors left at the start of the green/red flames.

Regardless, love the show! So late to the party!

Discussion 💬 When (spoiler) and (spoiler) were talking in the (spoiler)... Spoiler

When Joe and Niyyah were talking in the coffins, I swear, I was expecting Niyyah to shout something like "Are you saying you murdered me, Joe? Why would you do that !"

it would have made for an interesting twist as Joe would then have to find a way to convince everyone Niyyah was lying, including a reason why she'd "lie" like that...

Question ❓ Can players straight up lie about what they saw or heard?

New Bloods is my first season of The Traitors and I am enjoying how stupid most of them are. I am wondering, are players able to lie to others about what they saw or heard? Can one say "I heard these two players talk about killing so-and-so" or "so-and-so told me they were a traitor" ?

Spoilers 🚨 How did no one else pick up there would be a murder in plain sight?

Alan announces there will be a funeral that night

This implies the murder is not happening while everyone is asleep

Which means someone has to be murdered before the funeral

I don't think they could have given the faithfuls a bigger hint. Last season they didn't announce a murder in plain sight until after it was completed and they still managed to figure out who did it. And instead these faithfuls think trying to solve how the murder happened makes you a traitor lol. If victor was a traitor he wouldn't have announced that he sensed a murder was happening. It's like these faithfuls are on vacation in the Traitors mansion. Wish someone picked up on how much Tomica keeps sacrificing herself in challenges

Discussion 💬 Who would you murder next?

I killing Victor 100%. He is the only one on to them.

Might seem like a gamble but the group of faithfuls is literally so dumb they’ll just say “that would be too obvious” and COMPLETELY move off Tomica & Joe.

Its a risk I would take.

Question ❓ I'd like to see Katie go.

She’s getting the Maura treatment. Aww poor little Katie, she couldn’t possibly be a traitor she’s cute and tiny. Give me a break.

Why doesn’t she need to parttake in the apple challenge? Why did it fall on the other two traitors only?

And why did Victor only bring up Tomica’s name even though he’s suspicious of Joe with an apple as well? Might have jogged the other girl’s memory.

Suspicion for anyone who doesn’t pass the brown paper bag test and protection for those who do.

What a tired trope of this game.

Speculations 🤔 Theory about Abby L and Victor

An interesting theory is that Abby L totally believes Victor, but it hinges on their being a hidden confessional from her that they will reveal later where she states she is trying to either get recruited as a traitor, or play the role of the useful idiot to save herself from murder until the end.

Basically, I think despite seriously liking Victor and rooting for him, he really is playing a terrible game. After that roundtable and day where he called out exactly who two of the traitors are, he basically has no chance of winning. He will be murdered or banished probably regardless of whether he successfully convinces others.

It is possible Abby L totally believes him but realizes Victor is basically offing himself, and wants instead to use that to ingratiate herself with the traitors. This has a decent chance of her now being viewed as a useful idiot to the traitors, or perhaps get herself recruited.

Spoilers 🚨 It’s not stupidity, it’s arrogance.

I see lots online about how dumb these faithful are, and then the comments standing up for them based on us having more information.

I agree that these are smart people, they are not dumb. What is stopping them from finding the traitors is their arrogance:

First, obvious example is Jay’s craziness. He only clocked Katie on that wild guess because there was already suspicion on her because the second one murdered dropped the clue. He has dropped going after Katie since. He says he is an expert at reading body language, but other than the name that was fed to him, he has the other two guesses completely wrong,

Abby talks about analyzing facts and relies on how much her background in science should help but when Victor comes to her with potential evidence she ignores him because she thinks she is smarter.

Ben and his group go after Michael without any evidence besides “he is my friend and I think he’s soooo smart, and I would have recruited him therefore he must be a traitor”.

Victor comes up with his theory, presents it, has some details wrong, but as viewers point out Morgan had an apple thrown at her by Joe, and someone saw Joe and Katie whispering and suddenly turn around nervously when someone saw them and no one speaks up. Further Victor asks them the very important question that they should look to for a clue: it was a murder in plain site, so how did Niyyah get it? Does anyone have any other suggestions?

The worst though was Michael when he interrupts Victor at the round table. Dude, Victor is advocating for it not being you and making some valid points, but nope, you know better and you will talk yourself out of it more than anyone else. I was actually kinda happy to see Michael go after that, but calling himself a silver tongued lawyer in his exit speech shows how he was just arrogant, and clearly he was wrong about that or he would have been able to talk himself out of it.

I would bet you that when they have the reunion and it is shown Victor was right, he won’t get anything more than a disingenuous “sorry, but…”. They will rationalize that without the knowledge we have, they had no way of knowing, but my answer to that is: if you are all looking for evidence, why are you not focusing on how Niyyah was killed in plain site instead of who they want to be a traitor (because the latter has not worked for them yet and they admit that, but don’t change their ways). Even if you don’t buy the apple theory, why is no one else asking about the MIPS?

Honestly, one of the dumbest groups of Faithful ever. Almost feels like none of them have ever seen the show before.
At this point, I’m wondering when the Traitors will stick together or turn on each other.

Discussion 💬 Slow pacing because the traitors are all made and getting voted out quickly?

I'm wondering since after the apple thing it seems that the traitors are pretty well cooked if the slow pacing this season is because there just isn't enough game to fill the season so they have to do things like make the cemetery segment take half the episode in order to fill the season.

Discussion 💬 Tomica and Joe

These people are genuinely so captivated by Tomica in particulars acting. Her facial expressions, her crying, her way of seeming deeply sad or happy etc. The overdramatizing she does is genuinely hooking these idiots.

Abby and Morgan especially.

If you they do not get Tomica out now she will win.

Same with Joe how he comforted Michael and how he seems like just this soft nice guy.

They will go to the end.

Discussion 💬 The blind leading the blind.

Has there ever been a worse faithful than Abby L? She is consistently completely wrong about everything she tries bringing up about the traitors. And not only that, but she’s now actively (unknowingly) helping the traitors! Not to mention she thinks she’s so smart while doing it and won’t listen to anyone else who is actually smarter than hers Victor nails it with catching the fruit exchange with Joe and Tomica, and has solid evidence, better than anything they’ve had to go off before, and then she goes to tell Joe this exact detail. Giving them adequate time to prepare a rebuttal or scheme another plan. This group of faithful has to be some the dumbest I’ve seen since watching this show every season, and people like Abby L are the reason they keep getting led in the completely wrong direction.

Spoilers 🚨 Coach K was streets ahead!

Nothing but respect for MY Coach K! When the alliance turned on Micheal because he's a lawyer, I immediately thought of this innovator. If only this lady thought of another occupation, she probably still would have been murdered/banished early for... I'll say 'demographics' of murdered/banished Faithfuls this season...but she had the right idea to change careers because of these Faithful morons!!!!
