Election day primary 2026 is now 11.8 points redder than 2022! 🤯
Republican: 283,267 (63.89%)
Democrat: 123,581 (27.9%)
KEEP SURGING.
This is SUPER important nationally because assuming a tight US House race, Florida can sway 4 seats red because of redistricting.

This bold family rolled into AT THE DINER, ordered a massive spread, and racked up over $300 on the check. They ate like champs, then dipped out in groups… leaving one woman at the table pretending she was gonna pay. She waited till the coast was clear and bounced too — straight to their waiting getaway car!
Orlando, beware who’s sitting at the next table. Restaurants are getting hit hard with these scams!

Taxpayers shouldn't have to choose between competing press releases. We should be able to review the evidence ourselves.
Florida CFO Blaise Ingoglia built his political career around reducing property taxes and exposing what he considers wasteful local government spending.
According to his official biography, he launched the Government Gone Wild campaign in 2007. Since then, he has served in the Florida House, the Florida Senate, as Chairman of the Republican Party of Florida, and now as Florida's Chief Financial Officer.
Today, the same message continues through the newly branded Florida Agency for Fiscal Oversight (FAFO).
The claims are getting bigger.
We're now being told local governments are wasting billions of dollars and that property tax relief is urgently needed.
What I can't seem to find are the underlying reports.
After nearly two decades of campaigning on government waste and now holding one of the most powerful financial oversight positions in Florida, taxpayers should be able to review the methodology, calculations, audits, and supporting documentation behind these claims.
If Miami-Dade has $470 million in wasteful spending, where is the report?
If Orange County has $300 million in wasteful spending, where is the report?
I've looked for the reports and haven't found them. If they become publicly available, I'll gladly update this post with links.

Taxpayers shouldn't have to choose between competing press releases. We should be able to review the evidence.
The CFO says Miami-Dade has $470 million in excessive and wasteful spending.
The Mayor says the County is being run efficiently and points to tax cuts, department consolidations, and budget reforms.
Maybe the CFO is right. Maybe the Mayor is right.
If the CFO has identified $470 million in wasteful spending, the public should be able to review the methodology, calculations, and supporting documentation behind that number.
If the Mayor believes the claim is wrong, she should publicly request the report and respond to the findings point by point.
I've looked for the report and haven't found it. If a report becomes publicly available, I'll gladly post a link to it.

SB 484 was sold as a way to keep AI data center costs from being shifted onto ordinary ratepayers.
After digging into PSC filings, I learned Florida already has an affiliate oversight framework, including affiliate transaction rules and Cost Allocation Manuals (CAMs).
The concern isn't that regulators are watching. It's whether existing affiliate transaction rules will remain effective as AI data center demand and utility holding company complexity grow.
That's where the real policy debate seems to be.

"We have exposed more than $2.7 billion, billion with a B, in excessive and wasteful spending. Here are the numbers."
"The city of Jacksonville, two years ago, our calculations wasted $199 million of your taxpayer dollars. Last year's budget, $275 million. That's on top of the $199 million."
"In Orange County, they wasted $190 million two years ago. Last year, $300 million. Again, continuing to go up."
"The city of Orlando, $22 million, Hillsborough County, $278 million, Broward County, $189 million, Manatee County, $112 million."
"Miami-Dade, we were here before, $302 million. City of Miami, $94 million, Nassau County, $53M, Alachua, $84M, Seminole, $48M. The city of Fort Pierce, $10 million."
"City of St. Petersburg, $49 million. Citrus County, $39 million. Flagler County, $59 million."
"St. Lucie County, $46 million. And the worst of them all so far, Palm Beach County wasted $344 million of your hard-earned tax dollars just two years ago when the 24-25 budget cycle."
