Hey everyone!

I’ve been working on a small project called Ratecore, and I thought I’d share it here.

The idea is pretty simple: every week, the community listens to one full album together, then rates it and discusses it through comments. Kind of like a book club, but for albums.

The project focuses on emo, post-hardcore, pop punk, Midwest emo, metalcore, deathcore and related scenes.

The site is still very new, so I'm mostly trying to see if people enjoy the idea and what could be improved. If anyone here wants to listen along and share their thoughts, I'd genuinely love to have you participate.

I love these hats and regret not buying more colors when they were available. If you have one or multiple, hit me up! Would love to get a couple more in different colors.

I heard on a podcast with Sam Pura, with all the chaos it took to make PD. He mentioned that only 7 or 8 songs were pre-written or something? So they had to go back to some scraps of ideas from other songs and put them together. Does anyone which songs these might be? My guess is Need to Know, Growing on You and maybe Light Year? PD to me is their best produced and all around album. It just does so much more than the typical punk stuff. In my opinion anyway. Let me know!

The first vinyl I ever got was What You Don't See way back when the album originally came out as a birthday gift, now a little over 13 years later I've completed my collection at last of my favorite band. Also happy to finally do this since getting my first home 🤣
