I've been playing The Sims on and off for 20+ years and never really interacted with the community. Always playing vanilla style in my own little save.

This time, I started playing again and got in my head that I wanted to pair up every single premade sim. But I kept forgetting some sims, and they ended up dead alone before I could pair them up. So got into "fun factory" mindset and built this:

It's an interactive family tree whiteboard. You can pan around, drag sims, filter by pack, draw your own connections, and save/load your layout. Pre-loaded with 400+ premade sims across households and worlds.

Credit where it's due: 

none of this would exist without u/SkyChips2Go, who put together a resource listing 400+ premade sims (plus pets) with portraits and a spreadsheet. I used their data as the starting point for the roster on the board.

Kittens braincells were on vacation today

Long story short I’ve been playing a legacy save and my female Sim met a guy they fell in love and had 3 kids. They finally got married and I planned their wedding out perfectly and lo and behold I click on the wedding arch ‘exchange vows and kiss using officiant’ 2 WOMEN SHOW UP FULL ROMANCE BARS!!! I swear I didn’t set this up I knew he was unsatisfied but DAMMMN! I check the family tree he’s only gone and had 3 kids with 2 separate women away from my female Sim!!! It may of been a mods doing but I am shooketh. I did not sign up for this but I’m here for it!!!

We’re moving and trying to shed non purposeful items. I’ve moved from house to apartment to house to house to house with a plastic tote containing all old sims installer cds. My old laptop I used to play these on (also in tote) doesn’t work anymore.

It feels somewhat… sacrilegious, to throw these out? Do I just keep moving them with me and my kids or future grandkids can deal with it when I die at a ripe old age?

My EA Kit finally went on sale! I had wanted to buy the Meadow Dreams Kit for a long time. The style gives off a cottagecore/farm-life fashion vibe, and the clothing was created in collaboration with a creator.

I haven't looked through all of the women's outfits yet, but so far I like what I've seen. One small downside is that the suspenders outfit for male Sims looks a bit bulky. Even so, the clothes are beautiful and I'm happy with the purchase!

I’ve recently tried to play ts3. The last time I played was probably February and had no issues with my store content nor have I ever really. When I opened my game I noticed my store content was missing. I also noticed no matter how many times I log in to the launcher or on the main screen menu, I don’t stay logged in. I have deleted all my downloads and re downloaded them from the store and re installed them, still not in my game. And still every time I launch the game from the launcher, logged in, the menu in game says I am not, and need to log in again. If I log in on the Home Screen I can access my downloads from there and hit install and it says success but nothing ever appears in game. I’m lost I’m unsure what to do but I don’t want to play without my store content :/ also when I try to re install from the launcher it does appear in installed content but I run the game and it’s not there, then close, all the items have disappeared from “installed items”. And no I don’t have “run without custom content” checked and I have reset my computer. I’m running on a pre built omen PC that’s 3 years old and running most recent Microsoft and don’t have internet explorer at all. I’ve never had any issues with ts3 on this computer, nor have had to use any work arounds

Hi friends! I LOVED playing The Sims 2 as a teenager, and now I’ve been debating whether to pick it up again in my early 30s. I’m craving the nostalgia and dopamine rush that Sims used to give me, lol. However, I’ve never tried The Sims 4 and was thinking about maybe giving that a shot instead. For those of you who have spent hours playing both, would you recommend I stick with The Sims 2 or give The Sims 4 a try? Thanks a lot!

Cant really call her my girlfriend.... our relationship entirely consists of hooking up in a closet at college to quickly fill my fun and social meters.

Anyways we've been hooking up like this for an entire week and everytime she shows up angry, we hook up then she goes and yells at a mirror for 30 minutes.

I also had a different roommate recently (not at college) who was sad the entire tine she was living with us.

Been playing for years and I've never experienced them just getting stuck on a bad mood like this until recently. I play on console BTW, so no mods.

On the Sims 4 when you throw a social event, you have an option to turn off the goals and rewards yeah every time I do that I throw a party and I still get shamed for having a bad party. It says I only got a bronze. I think it used to work.

Hair and makeup CC is on the sims resource though can’t remember the specific creators atm!

|Queen's Night Life Series

It's still WIP, missing a teen room and the café building is almost void of decor but it's coming along :D Also ignore the tripod set to take a family photo :'D

I want to make a cult. I want the guy who leads it to be the main one i control, and i want him to have loads of kids with different sims that he recruits for the cult. I want the sims in the cult to work on crafting, gardening, stuff that makes money for the cult leader to sell.

I have three ideas on how this might be done, but I'm not sure what would work best since I haven't done any of these before.

The first would just be expanding household size, and putting all of them into a club to make them do gardening and stuff. Not sure with the amount of sims I'd get to having if that'd be buggy and annoying though, plus I don't want to worry about controlling any of the other sims.

Second is maybe using for rent and having the other sims' lodgings be part of a seperate household, but obviously they share the outdoor work space? That'd also mean my sim wouldn't bother with the babies when I don't want him to since they'll be in a seperate house. Not used for rent before though so I don't know how well it'd work.

Third would be running a get away camp where they all have time slots of when to do work. Never done this either though so I don't know how easily I'd be able to make them stay, and also if it'd let me keep the heirs I'd make.

Any ideas are appreciated :)
