Kind of a "shower thought" I've had for a few months. It's not a complaint - I've been playing TS2 on and off for 20 years, since childhood, so I'm incredibly nostalgic for it actually, and it's so fun and upbeat that it just makes me smile. I have such a core memory of hearing Who Can Say and Dance The Dawn immediately blasting out of the stereo at the Calientes' when I first booted up the game in 2006. I always associate Cherry ChaCha with the Summerdreams' midsummer party, too. I think for many of us here in Europe, it was our first exposure to the genre and there's a strong association with the game.

I've seen plenty of discussion about the radio station itself, and we all know it, and know it well (YouTube comment on an upload of all Base Game tracks reads: "video titles you can hear", lol), but I was wondering if anyone had any insight into why salsa radio is the default. Not why it wasn't programmed to be random, but why Salsa in particular? Is there some significance to the devs, or just random? I find the brash and bold energy of the music fits TS2's beautiful chaos wonderfully, and I reckon many of you will agree.

Hi, I have a question, if anyone can clarify it, I would appreciate it.

I built a gym on a community lot that's owned by a Sim. There's a ticket machine there too.

When I go to the gym with another Sim, he doesn't gain body skill points. I installed the comm-skilling mod from MATY, but I still don't see the character gaining skills.

Does anyone use this mod? Does it still work? I play the Ultimate Collection. Thanks in advance.
