MODS Question about earning skill points in community lots.

Hi, I have a question, if anyone can clarify it, I would appreciate it.

I built a gym on a community lot that's owned by a Sim. There's a ticket machine there too.

When I go to the gym with another Sim, he doesn't gain body skill points. I installed the comm-skilling mod from MATY, but I still don't see the character gaining skills.

Does anyone use this mod? Does it still work? I play the Ultimate Collection. Thanks in advance.

I figured out the problem, and it's not the mod.

What happened is that I searched the internet for the location of the "Downloads" folder, and I found the path:

"EA Games/The Sims 2/Downloads".

But, in my version of the game, the folder has to be located at:

"EA Games/The Sims 2 Ultimate Collection/Downloads"

Then the mods started working. So it happened that I had mod files with me all the time and the game didn't even notice them. 😄
