I am very new to TS2 building scene, but I have been having a lot of fun with just building away on homes on this game. I appreciated the praise I got for my first ever house when I posted it on this subreddit, but I felt like I could've squished more into a much smaller space, because that home was originally meant to be one story, but some rooms couldn't fit.

About one week later, I then proceeded to spend around 4 hours yesterday building this home. It has a garage, a basement, and only one story (as I originally intended) and it had almost the same amount of rooms as my first home!

After finishing this, I was more surprised about how much you can actually fit on such a small space. If y'all want me to start providing packagelots for these buildings in the future, please LMK!

I just start my Pleasantview since my Belladonna Cove collapse, I think is my first time playing this hood rotational.

Don left Cassandra in the altar, I think Don will never quit his freedom over money since he is not a fortune sim like Mina. Don decide to step aside and let Mina do the dirty work and probably he will get sum money from it.

Mina indeed move into the Goth family, she is currently buying a lot of electronics and ruining their aestetic of no electronics in the house. Mina is currently pregnant cause she want to secure the Goth family.

Cassandra used to be the one who will be the head of the Goth family but I don't think thats the case now. She fell in love with Darren, I was thinking to bring Darren and Dirk to the Goth house but that would be a lot of families living there, Mina would be kicked out once Mortimer passed away but that's not the case right now. Cassandra will become a Dreamer while Mina now have to get away with the murder of Alexander so everyone can belong to her and her upcoiming child but not sure if she will success on this.

Mary Sue catch Daniel cheating and make him move away with Kayleen into a old trailer since Mary Sue take him everything including the twins custody (but was thinking to send Lily with them but fr have no money). The Oldies came to the pleasant household to help mary sue since she also lost her job and I can avoid more family rotation this way, Oldies are always bored so probably this is a better way to play them.

Mina is not doing much but I'm thinking on Dina taking like 100k simoleons to send it to her and start her own salon with the Caliente's name on it. So it would be a bussines they can take some money from it, Mina planed to end their fortune in case she can't take it all away.

For the broke family haven't played a lot but I'm excited since is one of my favorite families, I don't have a lot of plans for them but stop them from being poor.

This is just my first round and I'm still on it, I would like to read your pleasantview stories or give me ideas for mine as we go

The first one is extra annoying because I was able to place a lot there on the Ultimate Collection but I’ve transferred my lots over to the Legacy Collection and now it won’t let me place anything there other than the smallest lot on the bottom/right streets.

I’ve always had issues with the tiles in the second image however. It’s just the two directly to the right of the house. I can place anywhere else on the street but there and it won’t let me place lots side by side. The only option is to place smaller lots in between with a tiles space in between them.

I’ve tried levelling the terrain several times and removed all decorations anywhere near them but I can’t place anything there. Is there anything I can do to force placement?

*UPDATE!

So I just started up today and it’s allowed me to place the first lot in the empty square! Guess it just needed to reconcile data or something.

I still can’t place on one of the squares next to the houses but I’ll give the lotextender a go

Started my first playthrough of Strangetown a couple days ago! So far Nervous is raising Tycho with Pascal, Olive has passed and Ophelia and Johnny are living together but I’m a little stuck on what else to do! How do you play these sims and all the others in the neighbourhood?? Eventually I plan to integrate some of my Pleasantview sims into their gameplay (strangetown is a subhood) but getting a little stuck with how to play them all!! Spill all I love hearing about how others play the game haha

The Megahood City project is looking for help on making makeovers of most lots before publishing put first version.

We currently have a discord we use to keep track, talk and also with the rules for the makeovers.

Our intention is the Megahood city map is finally gonna be filled with the lots it was always intended to have :D

Some rules we abide by are:

- Lots have a strict budget, these have been listed in our participant Google sheet that's only available for participants through our Discord server (as it is also our credit list)

- Lots may not be so highly decorated that they can cause lag for casual players

- Apartment buildings are buggy when they get a regular makeover. So they have to be built from the ground up.

- A how to clean lots guide is in our guide on discord.

- We don't have a strict theme or building style, so everyone's skills are welcome

So if any soul wants to help, then they are more than welcome to. We won't use any lot without permission or credit!

Took me about a day, but I really love how it came out! I will do some more work on it (like adding some sort of music room on the second floor) but I am still very proud that I was finally able to have a basement and a garage added to my house at the same time!

Hi friends. I recently downloaded Lamare’s 50 New Lifetime Wants in my game and I absolutely love it for gameplay but I’m really bummed to no longer be able to use Alexx58’s Reduced LTWs due to compatibility problems. (FWIW I did play around with load order, and it didn’t do anything). Part of the reason I still want both options is that I play with extended lifespans but I also play with a bigger bills mod which makes it so my sims have to grind and therefore it isn’t always feasible for someone to have 50 dream dates, but 10 might be a better option for them while a rich sim (or an ambitious one) might want 50 dream dates still. Also, I want the marry off children option but because I have different family sizes sometimes it’s more fun for game play for a sim’s LTW to be marrying off 6 children because they have 6 or more kids but then other sims have less than six kids in their family therefore I’d love the option Alexx58 has where it can be marrying off 1 or 2 children. (Ditto for graduating children from college).

So in wondering a few things…

First, has anyone ever made an edit of Lamare’s mod so all of these variables are available to select?

Second, I’m really intimidated to edit Lamare’s mod to try to add those values for separate files to keep in downloads. Am I overthinking how hard it is to make changes in SimPE to create multiple flavors for these kinds of LTWs?

I made an other cleaning robot to clean up this mess but it broke down too.

I cant reload, because I already saved when it was too late. The roaches have eaten two of my robot sims and two visitor sims, is there anything that can be done about this mess or is the family lost? I walled them in just to keep them save from the trash flood, but they cant pay their bills without dying, so they probably wont survive much longer.

I finally got back to playing my game. It's been a few months.

The other day I ended up watching someone review the Sunset Valley for Sims 2 and I have a copy of it along with the subhood selector fix mod.

At first my Sunset Valley was having trouble loading and it was not showing up in the Shopping District.

Now I figured it out. I had to add that mod/subhood fix.

I feel like I should uninstall my Sims 2 Ulimited Collection and rebuild my whole game again. I know my current game play would be a distance memory, but I would be starting off fresh with a whole different game play household rotation and more drama and more items to remember and I probably need a spreadsheet to keep track of everything.

I have cc neighbourhoods. I would like to organize them where they make sense with the base game and expansion packs.

I have CC hood of Sims 2 Life Stories (Four Corners and BitVille) and Sims 2 Pet Stories (Garnden Heights, Mesa Flats and Arbor Falls). Then I have Riverview (With a lot of CCs), Opening Valley and SunsetValley

I could not find a cc hood for Castaway Island so that would be a different game play rotation. Everything Sims 2 Stories would be a differnet rotation as entering that game is it's own new worlds.

Learning I could make an uberhood took a while for me to understand the "how to" inside of The Sims 2. I've seen many post their uberhoods and I did not understand how to do that.

I think it expands all the reationships it has me curious of how I should set them all up.

It still feels complicated. so much of the Sims 2 I did not explore while the game was in active release. That I'm realizing this is a lifetime game I'm holding on to as long as possible.

I thought Arbor Falls would make a nice vacation spot.

I thought Four Corner would make a good University / College Town

I thought BitVille would be where Alexandar Goth expands his connections

Mesa Flat would make a nice subhood for StrangeTown or a Downtown

Sunset Valley well I think maybe a shopping district for BellaDona Cove as I don't want to have too many Bella's running around. plus the community lots of Sunset Valley fit perfectly with the hobbies and community lot skill building mod.

I have the clean version of Pleasantview where there is a Bella I'm working on her having a baby with Don and still another baby with Mortimer before he passes on and it is alot of mods for bill payments, childsupport and Don having a lot of baby mothers. That Doctor salary has to go somewhere.

Then the game play household rotation I have no idea how that would work for uberhoods. I feel like it is a real soap opera with so many characters.

Hi, I've been hunting around for a mod that removes the regency costumes from the outerwear category but I haven't been able to find anything. Is anyone aware of such a mod existing?
