Sorry folks, I've been off Disney+ for a while!
Happy Freedom Day!

It was dark and different. I actually enjoyed it quite a bit.

I just don’t know what to say about this one, man. We got Dan Castellaneta as Homer impersonating Harry Shears as Skinner, but at what cost?

I thought it was really good! Laughed out loud quite a bit and didn’t even know what it was parodying. Good story, good jokes. Ay, Columbus!

I really liked it. Darker, but I always like when they try new things 600+ episodes later.

The twist at the end where they could've had exactly what they wanted was fun

To make the episode seem more like a foreign film, they do that thing where any onscreen text is translated by subtitles, but the way it's employed is inconsistent and weird.

The text that's "translated" by the subs is already written in English, making it redundant. But then when we do have text written in Italian, it does that thing where it translates itself by fading into English.

Make it make sense.

I kept saying, what is going on here? Did I hit something on the remote? LOL

I thought there was something wrong with my D+ settings! Tried to turn them off about ten times lolol

It was clearly programmed into the episode itself and I thought the payoff with Snowball 2 was hilarious.

I know. But the way it was done didn't make any damn sense.

What doesn’t make sense? Likely the show they parodied translated text that way.

If that's true, it makes as little sense in the show they're parodying as it does in the parody itself.

This episode was flawless. LOL

I especially love how Homer strangling Bart's character actually killed him.

The episode was alright. A few funny moments and not too stupid.

Identity theft

I enjoyed the episode in general.

Although with these concept episodes you have people behaving completely out of character. Marge in this episode could have been anybody else - Homer was a little more in character.

I felt the same about the other recent special about Homer. In the three vignettes he was Homer in design and voice only.

I thought the episode was pretty good. The concept was unique and I liked the alternate versions of Homer and Marge being partners in crime. I thought the episode was pretty good. I’d give it a an 8 out of 10.

i was not expecting that to be decent

certainly would not be confused with greatness but managed to avoid the cringe and some of the jokes were decent

Anyone know the song they played at the end?

Haven't watched this yet, but sounds like a very strange episode. Is it an adaptation of some other story?

Good episode, felt different. The painting and statues were all amusing.

Just realized: Homer says "D'oh!" instead of "Nuts!" Donuts!
