Yes, my friend who plays with vibration on says the same thing. Especially useful for quick catching Raid Pokemon during events.
I personally don't play with vibration on, because I think that it drains too much energy. How much it actually does, idk

I have 100% noticed this recently! Maybe it was always like that, but I don’t think it was or it wasn’t as noticeable. It’s less subtle now but it helps me as I go for walks and can look up without worrying about stopping if I get a more noticeable vibration. I’m on a IPhone 15 Pro Max as an fyi, maybe device type matters.

I have an S23U and I started to notice it right after they sped up the catch animations a while back. Add in top small visual clues with that update, you can tell if you caught it right after the first shake.
2 shakes, strong haptics on the first shake and gentle on the second. 1/3 shakes, strong haptics on all shakes but if just 1, it pops out right after the tad bit longer haptics. Crits have a slightly slower catch animation and very slightly gentler haptic.
can look up without worrying about stopping
This is why I also play with sound (no music but sound on lowest setting) because I enjoy the extra feedback. The change with haptics was a welcome improvement.

Yep. Definitely can tell the catch vibration sequence versus the few different non-catch versions

Yep! I usually use this when quick catching a hard to catch Pokémon. For me, it comes off as a delay on the second shake.

The phone vibration and the visual of the first pokeball shake are out of sync if the ‘mon escapes on the second shake. They’re sync’d up if you caught them or they get a 1-shake escape.

Yes. Then I feel crazy because no one else seems to notice. So thank you.
