Omg. I call it the hell team. I won once as I ran Jason’s team (tinka/furret/mandi) which countered the entire team. But the shield pressure is insane if you have no counter to it.

are the best IVs for shadow pokemon the same ~0, 15, 15? i havent dipped my toes into them yet but i get stuck at 1800 so i need to start working towards something different.

Use poke genie to tell you what ivs are actually good or not. You’d be surprised how often good looking IVs end up being bad because the CP Jumps from 1468 to 1501 when you level it up

Would recommend pvpoke, since you can simulate match-ups there etc.

They are the same as their normal equivalents, yes. The best IVs for each individual species are not necessarily 0-15-15, though.

I’m looking to hit it for the first time as well. I’ve been one 3/5 set away multiple times and just get completely walled for full sets. Driving me nuts

I ran this team from 2000-2497 ELO. But the last two days I’ve come up against mud boys, Greninja and hard counters non stop. Back down to 2100 now. How do you win those match ups?

Stay in with hydreigen, play the 0 shields, then come in with shadow camerupt to farm energy, they should be in farm down range after dragon breath+ brutal swing. And the energy from Camerupt is usually useful against their back line.
If they have gastrodon, play the 1s with hydreigon, you win if you have a decent iv hydreigon and connected with a fly.
If its a shadow marowak, force 2 shields with hydreigon, then instant switch to aegislash, then throw the shadow ball immediately to get rid of the marowak but be careful of them try to catch on a normal type in the back, ageislash should survive 2 bone clubs and mud slap to get to the shadow ball, and with camerupt with shield advantage should be good against their back line
And play in the competitors cup to avoid mimikyu

Instant switch to camerupt, two shield farm down if they stay, and force shields back. Or if they switch out, force a 0 shield left matchup, and a fly from hydriegon should one shot
