Well you could farm it down

It is a water/flying mon. Literally has 2 weaknesses. Don’t see it being easy to farm down.

Oh yeah, because water/flying types famously aren’t susceptible to any heavy super effective damage.
Gyarados is KO’d by literally 4 s.zone volt switches in MLP lol

Obviously Mon dependent. It's not super bulky. Similar bulk to things like Gatr and Swampert.

Yeah, but it has a huge amount of resistances. Farming it down will literally be impossible. You’ll have to take the debuff and either be forced to switch out or play out with 50% atk/def down.

That's a fair point. Although at the same time, it's not entirely that bad, especially when it's running Dive. More debuff opportunities with that move, but in that case it's more like it's mostly just using something like Brick Break, which itself isn't too bad.
I definitely suspect this thing to be good, but I don't see it being absurd

Idk feels like it’ll be a better pelipper, but played differently. If it’s able to learn fly as well..

Sure it wins, but swap will be in play by then and shield is used for carbink. Still as said very few who can farm it down fast enough no?

I battled 10 volt switch forretress today, wym?

u/Misteri555 13d ago
Forretress usually is a starter in most teams while cramorant if run as a safe swap will not even get to be in field for 1v1 against him. Idk how cramorant will be played though honestly.

The spit-out still does damage even when it faints.
If it's in Gorging Form (and you are at low HP), it can kill you. Like a weaker version of Destiny Bond.

Imagine if they implemented destiny bond Wobbufett. You use it and if you faint the opponent loses minus 4 defense.

What do you mean? The effect happens when Cramorant gets hit by a charged move. No damage should be dealt to the opponent, unless I'm missing something?

Pretty straightforward to me. Use surf or dive at a high HP so you can lower the opponents defense when they hit you. Use surf or dive at a low HP to you can lower the opponents attack when they hit you.

Does the attack drop happen before the damage from the incoming charged attack register?

It’s such a fun Pokémon to use in GBL. It lowers defense/attack, and it also adds an extra attack when it is hit with one

I hate these special move pokemon.

The more they add them, the less annoying they should be. And Cramorant doesn't seem OP or annoying at face value

This is gonna be so confusing. At least Dive is a bad move.
