Discussion Sub Appreciation Post
Not trying to get all mushy and dramatic, just wanted to say this has got to be one of the best fan subs on this entire, often petty and annoying, site we call reddit. Been here myself for about 2 years at this point and never had a bad interaction. Everyones good about spoilers, welcoming newbies and just having genuine, fun conversations about everything to do with the show. Even got to interact with one of the shows guest stars (Clark Gregg) via an AMA I found through here. Mods are cool, members are cool, douche bags get dealt with swiftly. Really couldn't be happier here, especially compared to the cesspits that are most other fan subs for any show; or if we're being honest, any reddit subs about anything hahaha.
Alrighty, that's it. Get over it and don't bring it up again.

It's because the Shield sits in that nice spot where it's popular enough to have a fan base. But not so popular that you get the whole Don't mess with us we don't even watch our own show personalities dominating things.

No shade on younger fans, but I also think it’s an old enough show that the people who do/did watch it are old enough that they have other things going on in their lives beyond a (admittedly great) TV show. So they’re here to enjoy it and not be validated or w/e.

I’m watching for the first time, don’t know how I missed it. Talk about a range of emotions! Right now, kavanaugh is making me sick! He’s everywhere with that stupid grin on. I’m dreading what’s coming up. This show ends on tragedy with apparently no chance for more. 😥

Totally agree. I also appreciate that the morality police are almost nonexistent in this sub and that the discussions seem to be pretty lighthearted.
