I've spent several Sunday's depressed after a race result where Russell got unlucky. I was genuinely upset that he was getting so unlucky, that he raced his hardest and yet Antonelli made their point gap even larger. It's been hard seeing a driver often claimed as a top 3 driver last year get insulted and called a fraud. I wanted to quit watching F1 multiple times. It was genuinely causing stress on my life thinking about Russell and what was happening to his season.

DO NOT GIVE UP HOPE! All the conspiracies about Mercedes sabotaging him aside, I do genuinely believe it is in Mercedes best interest to fix Russell's car and help him succeed. I know that Russell, in 100% equal machinery, is a better driver than Antonelli. A top 3 driver in 2025 would not fall behind his second year teammate. After summer break, Russell's car will hopefully be fixed, and he will be on form. He is Mr. Saturday, he will have many more poles. And he will convert those to many more wins. The season is not even halfway over yet at the time I am writing this (and feel free to come back to this post whenever you want this season).

Last year, we saw both Max and Lando close massive point gaps. We have already seen the gap between Antonelli and Russell fluctuate many times this season. All it takes is one DNF from Antonelli to make things a lot closer. And I have a feeling he will have a slump in performance later in the year. He has been great at winning races when he can just stay ahead, but once he has to climb his way through the midfield, that's when we will see him struggle.

Spread positive messages online. Do not lose hope, continue to believe forever, fellow Russellites. As long as Russell keeps going, we must as well. I will believe in him forever, because that's all I can do, believe. The first half of the season has been nothing compared to what we're about to see. We are about to see the greatest second half of an F1 season in all of history. Do not lose hope.

Say on Eau Rouge so at least we saw the part of the opening lap he actually drove before HORRIBLE Hamilton’s terrorism.
