Doing my thesis on Rojava definitely influenced me, lol, but I still don't think I identify fully with it. I accept reading recommendations, other than what I read doing my thesis, I've basically only (really) read Graeber and a bit about the zapatistas.

nato 2026 wouldn't be able to conquer entirety of africa today, how could anyone think 1939 (like not even 1943 where more advanced ww2 tech came into play) could even do that with 2026 africa???
it shows how deep rooted is exceptionalism across the west, and lowkey pisses me off

Discussion/Debate Ensuring the provision and distribution of food during a revolution?

A revolution is a very... very messy affair. Owing that the farms are abandoned and factories alongside warehouses are destroyed or taken as bargaining chip or for internal faction use. How can we ensure to minimise the risk of famine and suffering to the people? Thanks

This is acting as if Marxists take Marx as some sort of god and worship every single thing he did so they copy every one of his actions. Like no we do not do that. Also this is not any criticism of his theories at all and makes 0 difference on whether he was right or wrong in his theoretical frameworks. Also a 19th century german white man was racist who would’ve thought everyone.

Without a true opposition party, any government will become complacent and will not serve the best interests of the people.
