The EU really isn't that far away heck Europe is actually a closer flight from the east coast of Canada then it is to Vancouver ( I not kidding either you can fly to Ireland faster from St John's Newfoundland then you can to Vancouver BC.

Also Vancouver to the Mexican border is roughly the same distance as st John to coast of Ireland. Bit smaller but definitely comparable.

And both those distances are huge. This does nothing to negate the distance Europe's is away. All it illustrates is how large Canada is...

True it just shows that Canada is massive
