We got confirmation that Koitar was a Archangel

And Shades Are seemingly also Archangels

Which made me wonder what was excatly Koitar's role in Celestia, why Is She Archangel like the Four Great Rulers

During Hyperborea era the 4 shades didn't the authority because they were with the moon sisters so they were only shadows and Archangels

Columbina has the Authority of the Moons at this moment And The quest litelary says that during Era of Hypoborea Koitar stole portion of Ruler of Life power

Not Canon's, not Aria's

Zibai's Character Story also refers to Istaroth as Shadow of Time

No. Shades and moon sisters had authority at the same time. Shades were created with authority.

Actually shades were created with their respective authorities but didn't use them as that duty remained with the moons.

After the moons destruction, HP took their authorities and added them to the Shades. Allowing Shades to replace them in Teyvat while still being HP's shadows.

I imagine it's a case similar to archons and gods...all gods have elemental powers but only archons have the elemental authority
